Kendal Mon and Kyu Grade Competition

Eligibility:Mon Grades - Under 16 Years Kyu Grades Up to and including 1st Kyu:
Entry Fee:£15.00 to be payable in cash (No cards or cheques) on the day of the event

Kendal Judo Club have always tried to run "different" competitions as well as the more conventional events. For a number of years we have run a Mon Grade competition for beginners in which we have ignored the normal weight categories and fought players of similar weight and ability together in a pool of four or five. This we have found to be a fun, no pressure way of introducing judoka into competitive judo that some of the bigger events cannot do. We introduced Kyu Grades into this concept last year which produced some excellent judo. We are continuing this into the 2012 Olympic Year.
We will see what the Entry is like and list on this WEB Site on January 6th the weighing in and booking in times so that players will not be waiting for a long period of time before fighting.
