World Cup Judo Camp a Success.

This year's British World Cup Championship for Men were held in Liverpool in which over 150 judo competitors fought for qualifying points for next year's London Olympic Games, as well as the Gold medals. Seventy of the competitors including the GB National Squad then came up to the Kendal Dojo for four days of intensive training and practice. They included British Gold Medallist from the Championships, Ashley McKenzie as well as players from Canada, Finland, Holland, Malta as well as the Home Countries.
Newly appointed British Judo Squad Performance Director, Daniel Lascau, also took the opportunity for his first meeting with the potential British Olympic Squad players. Daniel is also the Vice President of the European Judo Union and along with the Chairman of the British Judo Association, Densign White, he was impressed with the Dojo and the amount of work put in by Mike Liptrot and other members of Kendal Judo Cub in making the Training Camp a great success.
