The word "JUDO" consists of two characters from the Japanese language "JU" which means 'Gentle' and "DO" which means 'The Way.' and is translated in English as "The Way of Gentleness." However the Japanese interpret 'Gentle' differently to how we understand the word. read more
Kendal Judo Club is one of the top dojos (a place where judo is practised) in the North of England. It has a thriving membership ranging from beginners to National Squad and International players. Their ages start at around 6 years old and go to 58 years and over. read more
