Visit by Frank Wieneke

A very successful Visit was made by the National German Coach and Olympic Gold Medallist Frank Wieneke to Kendal Judo Club. 20 Coaches and players took advantage of his expertise.
His main technique was his world famous Seoi Nage. He introduced several variations and methods of entry into the throw.
In the second half of the day he covered turning opponents onto their back with them starting flat on the mat.
After all his demonstrations he went round each pair correcting and encouraging their efforts.
All the coaches said they had enjoyed the day and Kendal Judo Club's thanks to Andrew Moshanov for his help in getting Frank to come to Kendal.
