An Olympic Weight Lifting Club has started on a Tuesday Evening at the Club.
It is open to anyone and everyone £3.00 per session
Tuesday Evening 4.00pm to 5.00pm and 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Accommodation News for 24th Annual Winter Training Camp

There has been some uncertainty over the future of Kendal's YHA Accommodation for the above event which led us to leave it off the poster for this year's Winter Camp.
However we have now learned that the Hostel is staying open until April next year so we can now offer the following.

BJA Most Improved Player of the Year Award for Michael

Michael Horley was presented with the Award for the Most Improved Male Player on the National Squad at the British Judo Association Annual Awards Dinner.
The National Coaches voted unanimously in favour of MIchael who attracted a great deal of notice during his international appearances in Brazil, Russia, Spain, Belarus and Germany. read more

Michael Horley selected for World Championships in Japan

A Two Dan Martial Artiste

It is rare for a student of one martial art to embrace another of the oriental activities. It is even rarer for that exponent to gain the coveted black belt in both but that is the achievement of Kendal Judo Club veteran Nick Hill at a recent karate grading in Cockermouth. read more

Abdul Player of the Lancashire Championships

It was success all the way for Kendal Club members at the Lancashire Championships held at Blackburn.
Top of the list was 14 year old Abdul Ben Hamida who not only won Gold Medal but was presented with the Ron McKinley Trophy for best player of the day with his text book Harai Goshi.
The Kendal Result list is impressive with every one of our players coming back with a medal. read more
