Kendal Judo Club at World Championships in Rotterdam

With the help of South Lakleland District Council and 'Budo-Nord' the club had a stand at the World Championships in Rotterdam to advertise the club's facilities as an official Pre 2012 Games Training venue. Representatives from over forty countries took the time out to come and view what the club has to offer and talk with Mike Liptrot. read more

Heart of England Success

The Heart of England Judo Championships held in the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham is the biggest one-day competition in the British calendar. Kendal Judo Club members always seem to come back with medals from the event and this year was no exception. read more

Kendal Age Banded Open for Less Experienced Boys & Girls - October 25th

Kendal Judo Club are running a competition, Previously called the U10 / U12 Lakeland Open. The object of the event is to give the less experienced judo player a gentler introduction to judo competitions.
The players are weighed on the day and then taking their age, grade and experience are placed in pools of four or five to be fought off.
