With most of the National Squads entering The English Open Championships being held during the weekend of March 21/22nd were always going to be a big event but it has now been upgraded to a major international with several Russian Champions entering.
The players are from Vladimir Putin's , the former Russian President and now its Prime Minister, club in St. Petersburg and include :
EYYBOV U60k 2007 EC Under 23 silver medallist;
TOLASOV U66k 2007 ECC Champion and Gold medallist in a number of U20 EJU Tournaments in 2008;
BETANOV U73k ECC Champion and Gold Medallist in several U20 EJU Tournaments in 2008;
GASIEV current Russian Champion at U90k;
DZHANAEB Over 100k 2008 Super World Cup Silver medallist
