Olympic Training Camp Venue

Announcing that Kendal Judo Club has become one of only three Official 2012 Olympic Training Venues in Cumbria. Brendan Jameson Leader of South Lakeland District Council said 'I think it absolutely tremendous and it is a credit to Kendal Judo Club to get on the register'
The announcement was made by Sport England and the club details will appear in the Official Pre-Games Training Camp Guide. This document will be circulated to all competing countries' Olympic Associations and International Governing Bodies and Kendal could well see the town hosting top international judo squads as teams acclimatise themselves to the English weather in preparation to competing in London.
