Laura Clare - Structural Fitness Sessions
Laura Clare has been teaching and practising Yoga for over 25 years and is still passionate about the many benefits it has to offer.
Over the past 10 years she has been increasingly interested in the transferable skills that yoga can offer to athletes.
Laura can teach you how to identify and correct over use of particular areas of your body and to move and work from the deeper structures of your torso and pelvis. Many of the injuries common to sportsmen and women can be avoided by learning to distribute effort more evenly throughout your structure.
In addition to the physiological benefit of learning how to release excess tension around the joints and through the spine itself, yoga offers an enormous depth of wisdom in mental and emotional ‘conditioning’- skills that will allow you to maintain awareness ‘in the present moment’ and provide you with a real edge in competition situations.
Private or shared sessions are now available at Kendal Judo Club.
