VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR OLYMPIC TRAINING CAMPS
6.30pm, 31 January 2012
Details
Between Christmas and the New Year just gone, Kendal Judo Club was host to 166 top international judo competitors including the whole of Britain's Men & Women's Olympic Squad as they started their intensive training regime leading up to the 2012 London Olympic Games in London starting July 28th.
As you can imagine that required a lot of work and needed a large number of volunteers to make sure it worked. (The British Performance Director and Squad Managers were highly delighted with the week).
We need more volunteers.
We do not expect you to work full time, even just a couple of hours a week when we have athletes at the Dojo, will be much appreciated. You do not have to have any special skills, just a willingness to put your hand to anything. Nor does it have to be just men. Women will be more than welcome
If you would be willing to give us some of your time (sadly there are no funds to pay you for your time) to help us and more importantly Olympic Athletes - it is not just Judo competitors, for example we have some boxers coming in February - please could you fill in the form (click on the link below) and send it in to the club. We are holding a meeting at 6.30pm 2012 and we would be very very grateful for your presence and help
